"Sarah gave a wonderful and thought-provoking presentation on Restorative Justice and Healthcare at Northern Light Health during the fall of 2023. Her talk examined how restorative practices offer an opportunity to build trust, cultivate trust, and suspend power dynamics within organizations. Participants thoroughly enjoyed her presentation and commented how insightful and informative it was. Sarah's knowledgeable perspective was very important as we navigate how restorative practices can be used in healthcare to prevent harm and address harm if it does occur. Sarah is a community builder and leads with passion, expertise, understanding, and grace. I will be relying on her again as a subject matter expert in the near future!"

"It was an absolute pleasure to have Dr. Sarah Dyer as a panelist in our recent workshop on "Revolutionizing the Workplace: DEI-Driven Recruiting and Hiring Strategies." Dr. Dyer brought an unparalleled depth of knowledge and insight that greatly enriched our discussions. Her ability to articulate complex DEI concepts in accessible ways greatly enhanced our understanding of the proactive measures necessary for embedding inclusivity into recruiting and hiring processes."
Services
Sarah caters to the needs of each community. The dynamics of any group depend upon the individuals that make up the organization. Sarah approaches all her work with a lens of restorative justice practices. However, she works with the community to identify their needs, and what framework will suit their goals.
Sarah helps individuals and organizations understand the levels to DEI work. Sarah's work is unique as she offers a meta-analysis of the landscape of diversity, equity, and inclusion to situate the organization and individuals within this context. From a place of shared understanding, Sarah offers a view of the national, and organizational realities facing individuals and communities. This approach differs from many DEI offerings.
An understanding of the societal level of DEI work is essential, but incompelte. Therefore, Sarah also offers an invitation to reflect on one's own experiences and understand these in relation to others' experiences. The contextual and individual understanding facilitated by Sarah helps the community clarify its goals within various and changing contexts. Sarah accomplishes these goals through storytelling, restorative justice practices, the sharing of research and best practices.
Rather than a lesson based on understanding content, Sarah's work with organizations focuses on the building of skills. The skills learned with Sarah allow individuals to navigate the continuous work of building and maintaining relationships within communities.
